Award-winning self-shooting director and editor working across specialist factual, environmental and social impact documentary. I specialise in contributor-led and presenter-led storytelling in demanding situations and environments.

I am often hired for my ability to build contributor trust, negotiate fast access, and provide calm story direction in fast-moving scenarios.

I manage small crews and solo shoots, and am confident handling sound logistics and making rapid editorial decisions on location to shape story as it unfolds.

Recent work includes Climb2Recovery, a film following ex-military personnel dealing with complex PTSD through climbing and mountaineering. The film is set to screen at charity and mental health film festivals in 2026.

I have also worked as a shooting PD on two major climate projects: Race For Future, an adventure from the UK to Chile without fossil fuels over 112 days, and Running Out of Time, a human-powered relay from the UK to COP in Egypt, filmed across 18 countries over 38 days.

Alongside directing, I work as a DOP on broadcast documentaries including ARTE films on dementia, bodybuilding, ADHD, and the recent decline of the pottery industry in the UK.

Additional credits include BBC Africa / World Service, Prime, and A&E Networks.

My film Machi won Best Focus on Biodiversity at the World Food Forum Youth Film Festival 2025 hosted by the United Nations FAO.

My Ghana-based film Elmina has also performed strongly as an impact piece raising awareness about the human effects of industrial trawling and plastic pollution on coastal communities.

Three of my films have been acquired by WaterBear, reflecting a consistent focus on environmental and social impact storytelling.

I have a background in cultural anthropology, which informs a respectful, collaborative and consent-focused approach to filmmaking.

I am confident with Sony and Canon camera systems and have operated a range of other setups. I am also experienced with drones, GoPros, and multicamera timecode workflows.

Notable international filming experience includes South Africa, Egypt, Israel, Ghana, Kenya, Nepal, USA, New Zealand, Uruguay, Chile, Argentina, Poland, the Atlantic Ocean and the Arctic Circle, among others.
